Butterfly Hunting

In celebration of conquering BOTH of the Butterfly Hunt Minigames in Final Fantasy X (and therefore gaining the Saturn Sigil to complete Kimahri's Celestial Weapon) I am letting out my frustration here.

The mission? Play the butterfly hunt minigame in both areas of the Macalania Woods.

The rules? Catch 7 blue butterflies without touching any red butterflies within the time limit.

The catch? The earlier on in the game that you try the minigame, the less red butterflies there are and you get 40 seconds. After the events in Zanarkand, the minigame loads up more red butterflies and docks 10 seconds from the previous time limit.

What makes it frustrating? You cannot waste a single moment. If you run past any one blue butterfly and have to turn around to go back for it, you will not catch the last butterfly in time.

I called BS on that minigame so many times because while I would literally walk THROUGH a blue butterfly and not catch it, I would be in the general vicinity of a red butterfly and Tidus would touch it and trigger a battle. It makes for a really good motivation to learn the perfect path through the red butterflies.

I think it took about 2 hours?... And a lot of groaning on my part.

Buuuut, it was either that or dodging 200 lightning bolts in a row, winning a chocobo race with a time of 0:00, or playing blitzball tournaments... >.> I suppose they won't be getting their Celestial Weapons with my help.

Perhaps I can convince certain peoples to help me. ^v^
